Subject pages getting me down

I'm taking a break from the professional webpage and a research guide for English I've been working on this morning. I'm trying to use WordPress, which we use for our library blog, but I'm dissatisfied and annoyed with it. When I publish it, nothing's formatted the way I want it, even though I used HTML instead of relying on the WYSIWYG editor. We have an in-house subject guide template, but I don't love it, either. It's tempting to just use Blogger. I guess I'll just go work on the reference wiki now, as it's time for a different kind of headache.
